How to find a job in UAE while studying

In UAE local/international students can work. The students above 18 can work and earn money by themselves. If you are an international student you need an NOC (No Objection Certificate) and if the student is a local you don’t need an International student only can work up to 20 hours a week during vacation the student can work as a full-timer. So mainly the universities in UAE have undergraduates and postgraduates mostly undergraduates have classes in the morning till noon or evening on the other hand postgraduates have classes after the evening. So the postgraduates can work as a full-timer which can work up to 8 hours a day on the other hand undergraduates only can work as part-time workers.

Tips to help you to get a full/part-time job while studying:

# To have a good resume

The student must have a good resume which allows the HR to know mostly everything (name, age, nationality, education qualification, experiences.). In the resume, you need to explain yourself which is quite convincing for HR. If you have a cover letter it is better

# Applications to help to apply for a job

Applications like Indeed, LinkedIn, Enrology, and Dubizzle are the main platforms that you can apply for full/part-time jobs. The student must go to the search bar and search for the specific job that can be well performed. Make sure that you send as many applications as you can because you can't be sure which one will hire you.

# Apply for full/part-time directly

For direct application you must have a copy of your resume so that you can apply directly make sure that you have the correct contact number otherwise they cannot contact you. Places like Dubai downtown can be a starting point because you can find a lot of cafés, restaurants, grocery shops, and a lot more there.

# When the HR calls for your interview

When you get an appointment for the applied job you must confirm it's not a scam (just google the location if it’s a scam you can know it) In the interview you must tell HR the day that you are available for work. For undergraduates for evening shifts and for postgraduate students for morning shifts. An international student can't sign a bond of anything.

# Don’t fall for the scammers

There is a lot of job scamming going on in UAE make sure you do not get scammed if the HR asks for a deposit of any kind of application fee to continue it’s a scam.
